Hi, I’m Stacy, natural perfume maker and creator of Earthling Perfume.

For more than a decade I’ve studied with the renowned natural perfumer Mandy Aftel. Her method, which emphasizes discovering the magic in and between beautiful materials, lends itself perfectly to my own creative process and simple style.

FAQ

  • Earthling Perfume eau de parfum is created using only natural ingredients. These include absolutes, concretes, and essential oils.

    Isolates from natural sources may also be used sparingly in some blends. For instance, there’s a very small amount of linalool, an isolate derived from ho wood, in Grove.

    The diluent used for Earthling Perfume eau de parfum is organic corn alcohol.

  • Natural perfume is a more personal experience. It tends to wear closer to the skin, so someone who leans in will notice it, but it probably won’t broadcast to people who are farther away.

    Well-designed natural perfume might last 4 to 6 hours. You won’t likely be washing it out of your clothes or hair a day or more after you wear it.

    A notable perfumer said that natural perfume is “more of a story than a statment.” This refers to the fact that natural perfume should evolve beautifully and logically on your skin, over time.

  • Eau de parfum (EdP) indicates the amount of fragrant material (in this case, natural essences) in relation to diluent (in this case, organic corn alcohol). Eau de parfum is stronger than eau de toilette, but weaker than parfum.

  • Earthling Perfume blends that are currently available can be made in other formats such as parfum, splash, or solid. Email stacy@earthlingperfume.com for more information.

  • Earthling Perfume offers complimentary shipping within the continental US.

  • Earthling Perfume has a no-return policy. Purchasing a mini spray is encouraged if you are unfamiliar with a blend. For this reason (in part) shipping is complimentary.
